Abstract Electroencephalogram (EEG) is the biopotential recording of electrical signals generated by brain activity. It useful for monitoring sleep quality and alertness, clinical applications, diagnosis, treatment patients with epilepsy, disease Parkinson other neurological disorders, as well continuous tiredness/alertness in field. We provide a review textile-based EEG. Most developed EEGs remain on shelves only published research results due to limitation flexibility, stickability, washability, although respective authors works reported that were obtained comparable standard In addition, nearly all not quantitatively compared contrasted conventional wet electrodes prove feasibility actual application. This scenario would probably continue give publication credit, but does add growth specific field, unless otherwise new integration approaches conductive polymer composites are evolved make application EEG happen bio-potential monitoring.
